Simon Archer is a friendly and professional photographer who is renowned for his black & white documentary photography. He can be available from dawn till dusk to capture memorable moments on your big day. He develops and prints his work by hand to an to exhibition standard, to create personal family heirlooms that last a lifetime. Based in Bristol, his scope is international. Simon has been schooled under the principles of a Magnum edict and has over thirty years of experience within the field.
Simon is passionate about capturing perfect moments that declare unreservedly love between two people. Moments that tell of a true union and the beginning of a family’s history.
Black and white documentary photography is what Simon is best known for. It is a type of photography that has been around since papers started publishing photographs, however it is a relatively new way to capture weddings. Technology may change over the years but love, as evidenced by the greatest stories in the world, does not.
Of course, you may prefer a more traditional wedding album photographer and the traditional post ceremony family gathering picture taking, but Simon can give you something more unique and different. And you have to consider, will the ‘digital negative’ really stand the test of time that so far, has not proved itself.
