The Pembrokeshire Retreat
We at Rhosygilwen are providing a unique venue for wedding ceremonies and receptions in our stylish and tranquil Pembrokeshire country house retreat located near Cardigan in West Wales. We have been a special place to get married for more than 20 years and we have a long list of recommendations and many happy memories. We have a real passion for providing a special service to wedding parties. Guests are so impressed from the moment they walk in and enter the grounds, right up until the time they depart.
We are offering a choice of locations to hold your ceremony – we have the Neuadd y Dderwen (The Oak Hall), The Orangery and The Gazebo. All glorious settings but for brides who wish to hire the whole Estate for their wedding and reception, we can also offer a fourth option: the drawing room in the Mansion house. The splendid driveway and the picturesque entrance to Neuadd y Dderwen (The Oak Hall) with the glorious Dolphin Fountain, plus the splendour of the green oak beams in the main hall, the chequerboard flooring, the lantern roof lights and chandeliers in the Orangery – These features truly make the experience a very special one!
Both the Oak Hall and the Orangery are available for receptions. We are able to offer a self-contained facility where we can cater for up to 150 guests seated or up to 250 at your evening party. Our specialist team of wedding caterers are renowned for their Strawberry Shortcake. They can provide a wide range of top quality menus to suit all budgets, tastes and dietary requirements.
We even offer on site accommodation for the happy couple and their guests too which is located no more than 200 yards from any of the ceremony venues. The lucky couple are welcome to stay in one of the more special rooms in the Mansion whilst there are 4 additional rooms available in our Courtyard Cottages for your most important guests. However if have hired the whole estate then there are an extra 6 rooms available in the Mansion.
