Our horse-drawn carriages create a picturesque and personal setting that will enchant and delight the bride and groom plus all your guests beyond all expectations. You can take a ride back in time with our elegant horse-drawn carriages, and discover where your dreams can take you!
Prior to your big day, we will usually (if distance permits) come and visit you to discuss the route and timings. We will include within the price the supply of the ribbons and flowers which will be designed around your theme.The horses can wear different coloured plumes as well to match your colour scheme and we will always try to match our cravats to the colour of your bridesmaids dresses too. We always go that extra mile for you! If the service is only a short distance away (less than a mile), we can easily make more than one trip, perhaps your bridesmaids or the mother of the bride would also like a trip.
We offer five different types of carriages which include:
- The ‘Victoria’ – It is an elegant carriage which is black with cream lining. It is the perfect vehicle to show off the bride’s dress. It is very easy to mount being low to the ground and it has no doors. The hood is very generous, it offers good protection from the weather. It can seat up to four people at a time.
- The ‘Landau’ – It has a double hood that offers full protection from the weather, and it is painted white with beautiful traditional varnished wooden wheels. It can seat up to six people.
- Our ‘Cream Wagonette’ – It has a canopy and is drawn by a pair or team of piebald Shetland ponies.
- Our ‘Cinderella Carriage’ – It is the perfect carriage for a fairy tale themed wedding.
- The ‘Five Glass Landau’ – It is a navy, classic and versatile carriage. With the glass and hoods up, you will be completely protected from the weather whilst the bride is fully visible from the outside.
